Mike, Scott, and Cathy, I am deeply sorry to learn of the loss of your mom. I grew up in Plumerville and lived directly across the street from Kay. My mom and her mom were best friends and visited everyday. I was the recepient of Kay's clothing and dolls when she outgrew them. We got into big trouble for painting a meatbox, belonging to her dad, bright red for our lemonade stand. She was very musically talented, extremely popular in school and always voted part of the "cutest couple". Many wonderful memories. She is dearly loved and always remembered. You have a fantastic mom!

Kay was my childhood playmate and one of my best school friends.
She was a bridesmaid in my wedding. We weren't able to visit her much after we were adults, but I miss her very much. She was a vibrant personality! My condolences to all of her family.

Kay will be missed! Not only was she a fellow teacher, a valued team member and a member of the Woodruff Elementary Family, but she also taught three of my children as they went through third grade. She had more patience with them than I did! Kay talked about her children all of the time. My prayers are with you.
