Biography: Kathryne Louise Burns Parker, of Little Rock, departed this world May 8, 2008. Born on January 27, 1917 in Ozark, Arkansas, the daughter of Gladys Anna Auriel Burns and William Wesley Hill Burns. Her husband, Myron Pell Parker Jr, preceded her in death in 1971. She was a lifelong resident of Little Rock and was an ardent supporter of the Arkansas Arts Center since its inception, Arkansas Rep and other related cultural arts, becoming in her later years an accomplished artist in her own right. She is the beloved mother of Sandra Kay Parker Bradford and her husband Bob of Little Rock and Myron Pell Parker,3rd of Greenville, MS. She was deeply loved by her grandchildren, Kathryne Deane Bradford Peck, Robert (Bobby) Henry Bradford,Jr, Leslie Elizabeth (Beth) Bradford Jackson and Myron Pell Parker 4th and 7 great grand children. Funeral services will be held today at Winnfield United Methodist Church ( Corner of Highway 10 and 300) at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jan Edwards officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the church at 1:00 PM. In celebration of her 91 yrs on this earth, contributions can be made to Winfield United Methodist Church, Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church, Arkansas Arts Center or the Arkansas Repertory Theatre.
