I want to express my sincere condolences to your family in the loss of Mrs. Askew. She gave me my very first job (with the state)and she was a joy to know and work for. I learned a great deal from her during my tenure there.

May God's grace and mercy be with each of you. You are in my prayers.

Ann

I was saddened about the news of your Mother this morning. Mrs. Askew as I knew her, was always the the kindest and loveliest senior lady that I was priviledged to grow up with. She always had a quick smile and was always so ladylike. I have truly been blest to have known her.

Be good to yourself during your time of grief and my thought, prayers and love go out to you and your family.

My prayers go out to the family of Hazel Askew. Hazel was such a wonderful person, and an inspiration to so many people. I got to know Hazel through Thom Shock....and I feel blessed to have known her and to call her my friend. Hazel was the youngest 96 year old I will probably ever know! I know that her family has the most precious memories of Hazel, and you will hold those memories close to your heart forever. God Bless you all.
