Biography: Byrtie Mae Stowers, age 100, of Little Rock, died April 16, 2008, in Franklin, Tennessee. She was born in Louisiana on August 19, 1907. She was a member of Sixth & Izard Church of Christ, now Windsong Church of Christ. She went to live by her granddaughter in 2001 in Franklin TN, after the death of her daughter Jean Lee Wilson, where she resided until her death. Survivors include her son John Stowers Jr. of California; her grandchildren Donna Wilson Sapp of Franklin, TN and David Wilson of Paragould; four great grandchildren, Chris Boyd of Little Rock, Kelsey Wilson of Paragould, Connor Sapp of Franklin, TN, and Lacee Sapp of Franklin TN. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2008, at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Visitation will be 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at Ruebel Funeral Home, prior to the graveside services. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Windsong Church of Christ.
