A special friend and lady to all she met and I am blessed by knowing Marilyn and her pride and joys: Glen and Paul. God bless you and know that you the family are in my prayers.May the beautiful memories that fill your heart help to bring comfort at this time. She will be greatly missed in so many ways, but especially at Chapter AL PEO meetings as we will not be hearing her humorous comments, infectious laughter, and missing her sweet spirit. God Bless you all. My loving sympathy,Rita (Drew, too)

Marilyn & her mother, Louise, were both such sweet, friendly people who I met soon after moving to DeQueen in 1980. They both contributed so much to their church, community, & neighborhood. I will always cherish the memories of participating in P.E.O. activities with both of them and their wonderful mother-daughter relationship also stands out in my memories. My sincere sympathy to all the family.

Glen and Paul: I am the daughter of Tom McLarty and I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. We had the honor and priviledge of knowing Marilyn for many years and she was a very dear person to us as she was to my father. We loved her. We enjoyed alot of times with her and my dad and I can sit here and hear her contagious laughter. I can hear them give each other a hard time and that makes me smile. They are once again giving each other a hard time and being together as they were for so many years. There are lots of good memories for myself and my children and we are forever grateful to her for those. She was a very special lady and we are better for having had her in our life. We will miss her.

For some years, my family lived next door to the Bandy family in DeQueen, where we all became good friends, even though Marilyn and her brother were somewhat older than my brothers and me. When my family moved to Conway, the Bandy's gave us their dog, to which my brothers and I had become quite attached. In later years, members of my family re-established friendship with Marilyn at a time when many of us lived in the Little Rock area. Marilyn will always be remembered by our family as a charming and talented girl in her youth and as a dedicated member of the community in her adulthood. She will be missed, not only by members of her family but by her many friends as well.

My Uncle, Tom McLarty, enjoyed a loving relationship with Marilyn for many years. They found each other again after both divorced. They had been college sweethearts and the spark was renewed later in life. It was my pleasure to visit with them often and share in Marilyn's wonderful sense of humor. I believe that they are together again and sharing a special bond. My heartfelt sympathy go to all of Marilyn's family.
