Biography:
Morgan Telfer was a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend whose life touched the hearts of so many. Her unexpected passing at just 16 years old has left her family and everyone who knew her heartbroken. To say her loss came as a shock is an understatement.
Morgan had her own struggles as she navigated life with autism, but she also found a place where she belonged. At Access School, she found her community—a place where she could connect with others and be appreciated for the person she was.
Morgan found happiness in the things she loved most. She loved animals, drawing, and creating digital images, expressing herself through her creativity through her YouTube posts to over 6 thousand followers and watching movies with her family. She also had a special appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. McDonald’s and Ramen noodles were a favorite, and when it came to soda, there was never any question about its importance. If the supply at home was getting low, Morgan would make sure someone knew! It was one of those little things that made her unmistakably Morgan.
But perhaps nothing brought Morgan more joy than bowling. Those who watched her bowl will never forget her signature approach to the lane—a little shuffle of her feet, a ball drop, and off it went! Morgan had her own bowling ball, but that certainly didn’t mean she wouldn’t use whichever ball happened to be in front of her.
Somehow, with her own unique style, she would often surprise everyone with the results. It was a moment that captured Morgan perfectly: she did things her own way, and sometimes the outcome was better than anyone expected.
Halloween was another special time for Morgan. The opportunity to dress up in fun costumes gave her something to look forward to and another way to enjoy the things that made her happy.
Morgan was quiet and shy, but there was so much more to her than words could always express. She found comfort and connection in the things she loved, and those who knew her will remember the unique ways she experienced the world.
Her life reminds us that joy does not have to be loud, and that some of the most meaningful moments are found in the simplest things.
Morgan leaves behind her loving parents, Karen and Scott; her brother, Christian; her grandparents; aunts and uncles; cousins; and many other family members who loved her dearly. Her family will forever cherish the memories of her, from the everyday moments that made them smile to the special times they shared together.
Sixteen years was far too short a time. Morgan's passing leaves behind questions, heartbreak, and a void that cannot be filled. Yet, in the midst of this unimaginable loss, her family can hold close the memories of the girl who could make a bowling lane her own in a way no one else could.
Morgan will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. May the memories of her life bring comfort to those who loved her, and may her family find strength in one another as they navigate the difficult days ahead.
A memorial service will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 2PM.
