Biography: Catherine “Katie” Garrett Wilson, age 76, of Little Rock died November 11, 2005. She was born in Greenville, MS on January 9, 1929 to the late Charles and Mary Elizabeth Shaffer. She was our mother, an avid gardener, and a member of the Westover Hills Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Henry Garrett and later by her second husband, Jed Wilson. She is survived by her children, Ann and Terry Owens, Buddy and Bridget Garrett, Eva Wilson, Catherine and Rick Tepper, and David Wilson; one brother, Bubba Shaffer; sister, Betty Jo Shaffer, and 9 wonderful grandchildren, Mary Catherine, Hank, Amber, Sarah, Kate, Nicole, Jessica, J.D., and Zoe. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 13, at Ruebel Funeral Home from 2:00 – 4:00 PM with a memorial service immediately following in the Chapel of Ruebel Funeral Home at 4:00. Burial will be at 1:00 PM on Monday at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Greenville, MS.
