Biography:

Lawrence “Larry” Edward Kuca, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 70.

Larry was born on October 18, 1955, in Elgin, Illinois, to Edward and Dolores Kuca. At 17 years old, Larry came to Arkansas, a place he would eventually call home for the rest of his life.

Larry attended the University of Arkansas, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science before continuing his education in law school. He went on to build a successful career as a real estate developer and contractor, a career that reflected his hardworking nature, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit.

Those who knew Larry will remember him for his humor, kindness, strong work ethic, and love for his family. He always had a story to tell and a way of making people laugh. He was a man who worked hard, cared deeply, and made lasting memories with the people around him.

Larry enjoyed reading and had a special love for animals. Above all, he loved his family and took great pride in those closest to him.

Larry is survived by his daughter, Katharine “Katie” Rae Gilbertson; his siblings, Gary Kuca, Regina Kuca, Jim Kuca, and John Kuca; and his niece, Sarah Sikoria. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Dolores Kuca.

Larry leaves behind a lifetime of memories, stories, laughter, and love. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
