Biography:

Patricia Webster Renfro, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on August 28, 2026, at age 96. Born on August 16, 1930, in Galveston, Texas, Patricia was a proud "BOI" ("Born on Island") whose life was defined by adventure, resilience, faith, and an unwavering devotion to family.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Helen McMullen Webster and Sydney Jamieson Webster; her sister, Margaret Webster Lewis; her brothers, Sydney John Webster and Charles Rodney Webster; and her infant son, Robert Glenn Wald.

She is survived by her son, David Timothy Wald of Little Elm, Texas, and her daughters, Elizabeth Wald Barnes (Robert) of Little Rock, AR, and Margaret Wald Gowan (John) of Dallas, TX.  She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Caroline O'Keefe Bork (Daniel); Madison Leigh Wald; John Crozier Gowan; Richard Jamieson Gowan; Marion Barnes Stafford (Stephen); Emily Barnes Carnes (Jason), and their children, Grayson Walker Carnes and Harrison Hayes Carnes; and her great-granddaughter, Charlotte Anne Bork. 

The family extends sincere gratitude to Patricia's SeniorKarecaregivers, Baptist Hospice; and the staff of Presbyterian Village Retirement Community for their compassionate care.

A celebration of Patricia's life will be held at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Little Rock, Arkansas, on September 11, 2026 at 10 am, followed by a reception in Morrison Hall. Interment will take place at Mount Holly Cemetery.
