Biography: Allison Almon Magann, beloved mother, daughter, friend, advocate, writer, and community leader, passed away on June 27th, 2026, at the age of 50.

Born on January 21, 1976, Allison lived a life defined by compassion, courage, and an unwavering commitment to helping others. Lively, charismatic, and deeply empathetic, she had a gift for making people feel seen, valued, and loved. Whether through her professional work, creative pursuits, or personal relationships, Allison left an enduring impact on countless lives.

A gifted student from an early age, Allison attended the prestigious Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science before earning her Bachelor of Business Administration from Millsaps College in 1999. Demonstrating remarkable determination and perseverance, she later completed her Master of Business Administration at Millsaps in 2005 while raising three young children.

Allison began her professional career as a financial advisor with Smith Barney. She later spent more than a decade in the product manufacturing industry, serving in sales, marketing, and product management roles. Her work took her across the globe, including travels to Germany, Brazil, and many other destinations as she developed business opportunities and built lasting professional relationships.

In the later years of her career, Allison devoted herself to serving those in need. As a Domestic Violence Victims Service Coordinator, she became a tireless advocate for survivors and their families. In 2023, she founded Hope for HOPE, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and supporting individuals affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and racial injustice. She was passionate about sharing her own experiences to encourage healing, resilience, and hope in others.

Outside of her professional accomplishments, Allison was a gifted poet, freelance writer, and lover of music. She brought joy and creativity into every room she entered. She was known for her elaborate Halloween costumes, adventurous spirit, love of travel, and enthusiasm for celebrating life's special moments. Recently, she delighted in marking her 50th birthday surrounded by family and friends at a dance party that reflected her vibrant personality.

More than anything, Allison cherished her children. She created a lifetime of memories through annual ski trips, outdoor adventures, and treasured days spent at her parents' home along the Little Red River. One of her final family adventures was a memorable trip to New Orleans with her children, a place filled with music, culture, and the joy she loved to share.

Allison believed deeply in kindness, generosity, and service to others. One of my mom’s favorite poems was:

“To live a life worth living. It must be one that’s giving. Giving your time, money, and heart. Where showing love becomes an art. Where a helping hand is how you reach. Where being kind is what you teach. Where everyone is treated the same. Where we try to comfort those in pain. It must be one that’s giving. To live a life worth living”.

Those words beautifully reflected the way she lived every day of her life.

Allison is survived by her children, Hannah Caroline Magann, Price Wesley Magann, and Adison Brown Magann; her mother, Waldine Caroline Almon; her father, John Vernon Almon; and countless friends, colleagues, and loved ones whose lives were forever enriched by knowing her.

Her legacy lives on in the people she loved, the causes she championed, and the hope she inspired in others. She will be remembered for her generous heart, infectious spirit, steadfast faith, and the extraordinary way she turned her compassion into action.

A celebration of Allison's life will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home on Saturday, July 18, 2026. Visitation will start at 10 AM followed by a memorial service at 11 AM.

Though she is no longer with us, Allison's example reminds us all that a life worth living is indeed one devoted to giving.

Donates should be made to the Arkansas Coalition Against Domestic Violence (https://domesticpeace.com/). Arrangements are under the direction of RuebelFuneralHome.com

I’m grateful for the memories we shared and for the reminder that the impact someone leaves isn’t measured by how long they’re here, but by how deeply they love and how many lives they touch.

Rest easy, Allison. You will be remembered, and you will be missed. ❤️

When I first met her, she was being very Allison and looking out for someone she didn't even know (me). We crossed paths again a year or two later when I met my husband (she's in his friend group) and I was excited to see her again and become friends. She leaves a legacy of compassion and strength that will live on through her kids. Sending you all love and prayers.
