Biography:

Holly Haskins Phillips was welcomed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on June 9, 2026. She was born on June 21, 1960, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Carol and Ralph Haskins.

A lifelong Arkansan and Razorback fan, Holly graduated from McClellan High School in 1978. She went on to pursue her passion for healthcare, attending nursing school at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and later completing the Registered Nurse Practitioner postgraduate program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.

Holly was an exceptional nurse whose compassion, intelligence, and dedication touched countless lives throughout her lifetime. She began her nursing career in the CVICU at Arkansas Children's Hospital before joining Arkansas Cardiology Clinic. She later founded and developed the Executive Physical Program at UAMS. In the final chapter of her professional life, Holly became an extraordinarily successful pharmaceutical representative for Merck, where her excellence earned her induction into the company's Hall of Fame three times.

Of all her accomplishments, Holly's greatest joy was her family. She was the beloved wife of Eddie Phillips, who considered her the love of his life. She was an incredibly proud mother to her two daughters, Alex and Olivia, who were not only her children but also her best friends. She cherished her son-in-law, Chris Peters, and embraced him as a son in the family she loved so fiercely.

Perhaps Holly's most treasured title was "Mimi." She adored her grandchildren, Ava and Maverick Peters, and loved them with her whole heart. Her face would light up whenever she spoke of them, and the bond they shared was truly special.

Holly and Eddie also shared a beloved Aussiedoodle, Harper, who brought endless joy and companionship to their lives.

Holly will be remembered for her energy, intelligence, beauty, quick wit, athletic spirit, and vibrant personality. She loved being on the water, and her happiest place was Destin, Florida. That special place will forever hold cherished memories for her family, as it was where their "Mermaid" felt most at home.

Holly's legacy is one of love, strength, laughter, dedication, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear. She leaves behind a family and countless friends who will miss her deeply and carry her memory in their hearts forever. Many thanks to Marlise McCracken and Kathy Woods, two of her closest friends, and angels on earth. As well as her brilliant doctors, Dr. Khushman at Barnes-Jewish and Dr. Yadala at Baptist Health, for their eternal optimism and unwavering support.

A celebration of Holly's life will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at The Church at Rock Creek.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Holly's honor to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, dedicated to advancing research and finding a cure for the disease she battled with unwavering strength, grace, and dignity. Arrangements are under the direction of RuebelFuneralHome.com
