Biography: It is with deep love and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Ruthann Anderson, who was cherished by all who knew her.
She was a devoted mother to Roberta Reckers, Richard Longmire, Angela Olmos, Jedidiah Dailey, and Brittany Walker. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren—Breonnah, Jareth, Triston, Elijah, Kyler, Dillon, Jeremy, Abigail, Franklin, Aurora, and Aether—as well as her five great-grandchildren: Aiden, Calleigh, Lilliana, Grayson, and Brooklynn, each of whom brought her immense pride and joy.
Ruthann dedicated 35 years of her life as a PBX operator at St. John’s Regional Medical Center. In that role, she was often the first voice people heard—a steady, kind presence connecting others in moments that mattered. Her compassion, reliability, and warmth left a lasting impression on both her colleagues and the many lives she touched. Later in life, she moved to Arkansas to be closer to her family, where she continued to surround herself with the people she loved most.
Ruthann found joy in the simple, meaningful things—she loved crocheting and spent countless hours creating pieces that will continue to comfort her family for years to come. She also had a fondness for collecting trinkets, each one a small treasure that reflected her unique spirit. Above all, she loved her family deeply and never missed a chance to remind them. Her favorite saying, “I love you most, all the way up to God and back, times infinity,” will forever echo in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
She was deeply loved, and her warmth, wisdom, and presence will be profoundly missed. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
