Biography:
Edgar “Daniel” Easley passed away after a long, hard-fought battle against addiction at the age of 29. Known for his charm, humor, and love for dogs and sports, he was a light to those who knew him.
Daniel was born in Little Rock, Arkansas in August of 1996 to David and Diane Easley. Daniel attended Our Lady of the Holy Souls School followed by Catholic High School for Boys.
Daniel spent the last three years of his life in Los Angeles, California. Shortly before his death, he had several meaningful conversations with friends and family about the role God had played in his life since moving out there.
Despite his best efforts to overcome his addiction, the grip was too strong. We remember Daniel not for his mistakes, but for the loving son, brother and friend he was.
Daniel is survived by his parents Diane and David Easley, his sister Katie McClanahan (Alan, George and Claire) and his brother Benjamin Easley (Lexie). He is also survived by his grandparents Edgar Easley and Betty Jo Foreman Easley, and countless aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral mass will be offered for Daniel on Friday, March 27th at 10am at Our Lady of the Holy Souls Catholic Church. Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 26th at Ruebel Funeral Home from 5-7pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wolfe Street Foundation’s Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) at wolfestreet.org/donate or Wolfe Street Foundation P.O. Box 3708 Little Rock, AR 72203.
