Biography:
Barbara Ann Jungkind, 75 of Little Rock, passed away peacefully Friday, February 20, 2026. Barbara Ann was born September 11, 1950 in Little Rock where she graduated from Hall High School and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She worked in Little Rock and Northwest Arkansas where she enjoyed her passions of the outdoors, hiking, skiing, boating and canoeing.
Barbara Ann was preceded in death by her parents, BF and Mary Ann Jungkind, her sister-in-law, Gayle Jungkind (Bernie) and her niece, Michelle Jungkind. She is survived by her brothers, Bernie Jungkind (Sanford, NC) and Johnny Jungkind and his wife, Lynda (Ridgeland, MS) and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff and care givers at Briarwood Nursing Home and St. Vincent’s Hospice.
A memorial service will be held at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Jackson, MS at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of RuebelFuneralHome.com
