Biography: Felisa David Calo Tuzon passed away January 31, 2008. She was born on November 20, 1924, in Tarlac, Philippines, and was one of eleven children born to Maria and Felipe Calo. Nanay, as she was known to everyone, was an unselfish, hardworking, loving and caring person. She was an excellent cook who loved to feed anybody who came to visit and would offer more food even if your belly was already full. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aurelio, and son, Joselito. Left behind to cherish her sweet memories are her two sons, Ernesto and his wife Mila, Efren and his wife Carmelita; daughters, Merlie and her husband Dr. Patrick Fields, Fe, Aurora and her husband Dr. Jeffrey Rains of Searcy, Lorna and her husband Mario Claudio, Erlinda, Flor and her husband Tally of the Philippines; 27 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters and two brothers in the Philippines, Vireng, Aurora, Marsing, and Arten.
