Biography:
It is with broken hearts that we share the passing of our beloved son, River Willis-Lamb, who left this world far too soon at the age of 28 on September 12, 2025. Though his time here was brief, the impact he made on the lives of so many was profound and everlasting.
River was a bright light, a kind soul, and a source of love to all who knew him. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, adventurous spirit, compassion, creativity, and deep love for his family, friends, and music.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cy Lamb; his grandmother, Vicki Willis; and his great-grandfather, Bob Lamb. He is survived by his mother, Nicole Willis; his grandmother, Melinda Lamb; his grandfather, Steven Willis; his great-grandmother, Barbara Luna; and many other close family members. River also leaves behind countless friends who became family through the bonds they shared. Though we mourn his loss deeply, we are grateful for the gift of his 28 years and the love he gave so freely.
River will be cremated at Ruebel Funeral Home, with a memorial service to follow later in the fall, where his life will be celebrated with stories, music, and his spirit honored and his love remembered always.
