Biography: Kevin Stewart Ezell, 40, passed away July 2nd in Pueblo, Colorado.

Kevin was born at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on April 19th, 1985 to Rayburn Ezell Sr. and the late Betty Jo Ezell. Kevin, the youngest of three brothers, resided in Redfield, Arkansas as a child with his parents and two brothers, Rayburn Jr. and Ethan.

After graduating from White Hall High in 2003, Kevin went on to attend the University of Arkansas at Little Rock as a Vocal Performance Major. While in University, he joined the choir at Second Presbyterian Church in Little Rock, Arkansas. As a section leader, he sang with the choir on many international tours. Kevin graduated from UALR in 2014. He became an Adjudicator for the Social Security Administration until he moved to Pueblo, Colorado to work for the Resource Exchange. While in Pueblo, he enjoyed performing with his friends Luke Angelo and Brady Beavers in their band, the Scrumptious Little Muffins.

Kevin gave the kind of hugs that made you feel safe and seen. His voice carried warmth, strength, and a quiet elegance. He had a deep love for stories and games, always finding joy in sharing them with others. Kevin was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. His legacy is one of compassion and music – a reminder to love deeply and share our gifts freely.

Kevin’s memorial service will be held at Second Presbyterian Church July 27th, at 3:00 P.M with a reception to follow.

So sorry to hear this news. He was one of my students at UALR. He was a dedicated performer in choir and opera and a good, intellectually curious student. And a good guy all around. My condolences to Ethan and to all who worked with him during those special days..

Playing smash bros, watching anime, and just hanging out with you and the crew back in Little Rock gives me the feels. I’ll cherish the memories with you friend. I wish now I’d been able to get back to Arkansas to see you and everyone.

I’ve known Kevin since Kindergarten…I started calling him “Wabbit” sometime around fourth grade because he was silly like Bugs Bunny…we drew original Pokémon together in band class before practice…good memories…I’m so sad to see that he has passed so young. My deepest condolences to the family.
