Biography: Gregory Clark Hohn, 65, of Little Rock, died July 11, 2025.  Greg was born in Newport, AR on January 10, 1960.  Raised in North Little Rock, he graduated from Northeast High School in May 1978.  Greg was employed by Entergy, formerly AP&L, for 42 years, retiring in 2021.

A light in the lives of many people who knew him, Greg had many friends.  Even as a teenager, Greg’s kindness, strength, and deep sense of faith set him apart.  Throughout his adult life, he carried his Catholic faith not just as a belief, but as a daily practice of love, humility, and devotion.  That devotion to his faith was mirrored in the way he loved his family.

He was very proud of the life he shared with his wife and was deeply committed to being the best husband and father that he could be. Greg had a love of gardening which he shared with his father-in-law for many years. He farmed at Two Rivers’ Park, enjoying the camaraderie of other avid gardeners. It gave him immense joy to share his produce with his family and friends. Sports was a passion he shared with his children, from watching his sons play baseball and daughter play soccer to enjoying Razorback athletics together.

He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Jane, and his three children, Dr. Julia Hohn of Charleston, SC and fiancé Lieutenant Colonel Nicholas Tidwell, USAF; David Hohn of Little Rock, AR.; Andrew Hohn of Houston, TX; and his beloved dog, Lily Rose Hohn of Little Rock, AR.  He is also survived by his parents Wilma and Carl Hohn of Little Rock, AR and many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his sister Caroyln Gammon of Conway, AR.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00-7:00p.m. on Friday, July 18 at Christ the King Church, 4000 N Rodney Parham Road, 72212, followed by the Rosary at 7:00p.m. with Father Juan Guido.  A funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King Church on Saturday, July 19 at 1:00p.m. with Bishop Francis Malone of Shreveport, Louisiana as celebrant and Fathers Juan Guido and Emmanuel Torres as concelebrants.

Memorials may be made to Arkansas Children’s Hospital at 1 Children’s Way, Little Rock, AR, 72202, to the Humane Society of Pulaski County at 12600 Colonel Glenn Road, Little Rock, AR, 72210, or to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.  Arrangements are under the direction of RuebelFuneralHome.com
