Biography: William L. "Lynn" Graves was born on March 23, 1957, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents William Leo Graves and Betty Jean (Allen) Graves. He is survived by his sister, Tracye Graves Easterly; his brother-in-law, Bill Easterly; his nephew, Dustin Easterly (Ashley); his nieces, Amanda Easterly and Amber Easterly; and great-nieces, Maddox Easterly and Maelee Moses.

Lynn was the owner of Eddie's Cafe in Little Rock for over 20 years. He first began working at the restaurant at the age of 12. Eddie's Cafe was a Little Rock icon for over 70 years that originally opened in a streetcar on 6th Street in the 1920s. The restaurant was passed down through his family and closed in the early 2000s. Cooking was his true passion in life, and nothing made him happier than sharing food with family, friends, and his church.

Lynn was also an avid sportsman who loved hunting and fishing. Duck hunting was his favorite hobby, although he was unable to hunt much in later years.

He was an accomplished duck caller, and he passed on his love of hunting and duck calling to his nephew, Dustin, and "Lil Bro," Bill.

His generous spirit and kind heart will be missed by many. Although our hearts are broken and aching, we find much comfort in knowing he is with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Flowers may be sent to First Lutheran Church prior to the service on Saturday. Memorials may also be made to First Lutheran Church, 8th & Rock Streets, Little Rock, AR 72202.

A memorial service to honor the life of Lynn Graves will be held on Saturday morning, July 19, at 11:00 am, at First Lutheran Church in downtown Little Rock. Vistitation will begin at 10:30.

Honorary pallbearers are the members of Goosefoot Lake Hunting Club. Arrangements are under the direction of RuebelFuneralHome.com

Genesis 1:29
New International Version
29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food."
And Lynn definitely fed us with his excellent cooking!! What a tremendous loss!

My heart aches at the news of Lynn’s passing. I am keeping his family in my thoughts and prayers. I am keeping all of us friends in my thoughts and prayers as well. Lynn always cooked for us at church and outside of church. He truly had a gift and passion for cooking. He could always make you laugh too. I am thankful he taught me how to play pool down at church and will remember me always making him laugh at how I played. It was great times! Lynn, this isn’t good-bye, but see you again soon. I hope you give my Mom a hug when you got to Heaven.
