Biography: David Richard Goode, age 49, of Little Rock, died January 10, 2008. He was born in Jonesboro on August 14, 1958. A former restaurant owner and financial planner, David was a loving and generous person with quick wit and a great sense of humor. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, and friend to many; he never met a stranger. He will always be loved and always be missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his parents, John and WilloDean (Scroggs) Goode of Little Rock; siblings Nancy Lawrence, Beth Goode, and Johnny Goode, all of Little Rock; nephews, Cory Willett of Little Rock, Reed Willett and Taylor Willett, both of Fayetteville; and his uncle, Gary Scroggs of Beebe. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 14, 2008, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2223 Durwood Rd., Little Rock, officiated by Rev. John Fleming. A reception will follow in the church atrium. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2223 Durwood Rd., Little Rock, 72207. Cremation arrangements are by Ruebel Funeral Home of Little Rock, www.ruebelfuneralhome.com.

Dear Goode Family:

I am so sorry to hear of David's passing and I will hold you in my thoughts and prayers. Your family made such a imprint on my heart in my younger years and I remember those years with fondness.

My condolences to the Goode family. David was a good friend to me growing up at Hall High and Fayetteville. He was a fun friend who always made me laugh. I am sincerely sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. David and I were friends throughtout junior high and high school and I remember him always laughing and having a good time. I am unable to attend his memorial service, but my prayers are with you and your family.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had not seen David in years. Nancy, This is Bo Emmet's mother and I had remembere that you all were sister and brother. David was a friend of mine in High School. He was very much loved.

The Goode Family,

My deepest sympithy and condolences for the loss of David. His pain from the long battle of his illness is finally over and he is now resting in peace with our Lord. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. David was such a great, fun-loving friend to the Langston household and will always be remembered.
