Biography: Brian Keith Chrestman, a loving son, devoted father, uncle and proud grandfather, passed away on February 28, 2025. Born on July 16, 1982, to Theresa Webre and Monte Chrestman, Brian’s life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family and his relentless work ethic, leaving a lasting impression on those who knew him.

Brian was preceded in death by his cherished son, Mason Chrestman, and his paternal grandparents, Virginia and D. L. Chrestman. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Theresa and Luke Webre; his father and stepmother, Monte and Becky Chrestman; his brother, Brett Chrestman; and his sisters, Claire and Amy Webre, Brooke Edwards, and Bailey Griffin.
Brian’s greatest joy was his family, and he leaves behind his beloved daughters, Madison and Molly Chrestman, who were his pride and joy.  He worked tirelessly to provide for them and was overjoyed to be a grandfather to Maggie Chrestman and Caylix Chrestman.

Brian is also survived by his grandparents Margaret Ziegler, and Jim and Anita Castleberry. He leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and a legion of friends who will deeply miss his kindness, love, and dedication.

Brian’s legacy of strength and compassion will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will be cherished by his family, friends, and all who were touched by his generous spirit.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Habitat for Humanity or Little Rock Animal Village.

A memorial service will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home on Friday March 7, 2025 at 1PM followed by a reception.

Brian I love you man! I met you so very long ago...both of us still kids then came Jesse and of course I had to have Bobbie meet you. I look back with crazy memories and I do mean Crazy lol that I will cherish always. Your ability to get someone pumped up with your energy was something to remember. You had a laugh that was contagious. Mason and you were two of the hardest working guys I swear. You had worked the whole time I knew you. You had a smile that would make others smile. I wish I would have hugged your neck at the funeral if I had known that was the last time to see you. I'm sure I will see you on the other side again one day and until then may you rest in a happy beautiful relaxing peace forever my friend

Brian was one of the finest persons I've ever had the pleasure to have known and had the honor to have worked with. His dedication to his family and friends and his work was phenomenal. His smiling face and personality would light up the room when he entered, he never met a stranger and was loved by all he met. Brian will be sorely missed by all who knew him. May God bless his family.

My heart and deepest condolences go out to everyone in Brian‘s family. Such a horrible loss, Brian made the world a better place. His beaming, smile and infectious cheerfulness, always lifted my spirits. I’ve never seen anyone more dedicated to his family,he was so proud of you all. I’ve also never seen anyone work harder, he was determined to move forward and make life better for his family. There are so many exceptional traits that come to mind when thinking about Brian-love,loyalty,dedication to doing the right thing, always willing to make time for a project I needed help with despite his already packed schedule, conscientious about his work and relationships, just a 100% well rounded, exceptional person. You were special my dear friend, you are and will be missed. The world needs more great men like Brian Chrestman, love you little brother.

To read my cousins obituary have to see the part where it says “proceeded in death by his son“ damn near killed me. Thogh Mason was was of course my cousin, he called me aunt debra. To know & to love that boy was to know to love his father as well.
I saw so much of Mason in you Brain.
The hard work, the stubborn ass attitude, the way he love and protected at the same time that he annoyed.
This family has lost two great men within such a short time; though you drove me absolutely insane, I will never forget it. (That you were a great man, not that you drove me insane)

The trying to take apart the phone because "come on you guys, we're gonna make a bomb!! it’ll be like the biggest firework we've ever seen!", to having to put that phone back together PERFECTLY because of the look in Aunt Theresa’s eyes then upgrading to taking everything apart in uncle Monte’s shop, and again being caught by aunt Theresa, who would absolutely freak out.
(Seriously though I have absolutely no clue why she did that) we always had it put together by the time Monte got down the driveway. Pretty sure that our quickest time was 30 minutes.

To making fun of you for swinging off of a vine to jump into a snake infested "pond" behind the house while I jumped in the mini swamp next to the ACTUAL swamp you just jumped into and played with the tadpoles around my feet to hangouts in the clubhouse to Sonic on the Sega Genesis to play fights that we just said were “play fights“ because we really wanted to beat the crap out of each other to me convincing mom to let me spend the night with you when you had moved to Little Rock and were living in Windemere apartments.
I was so excited because I was getting to stay with my big cousin.

I love you so much, Brian. (even though you were one of the biggest pains in my ass)
I would give anything to be able to pay you my candy that I got at the end of the week for being good in kindergarten so my big cousin would give me a hug when we jumped off the bus at school every morning.

Here’s to the biggest firework we’ve ever seen
Here’s to scaring the crap out of Aunt Theresa
Here’s to homemade ice cream and kindergarten treat box hugs
Here’s to picking on Brett together when it was my week to get to be the big kid with you

Here's to the good times, the bad times, and every single time in between.
Here’s to you cuz

I’ll be sure to search for soda bottles, I’ll give Curt my money so he’ll play all day for me.
So you listen for that old Dobro playing in the sky, cause every song he plays for me is gonna be a song for us. Cause he’s the finest picker to ever play the blues and me and you, we can find the happy parts in even the saddest songs.

Brian was a sweet, caring, and genuine guy. He would do anything for anyone. We were so sadden with the tragic news. His smile and sense of humor would light up a room. He sure could make you laugh . He talked about his kids and grand babies and they were his pride and joy. To the family, we are so sorry for your loss and we will say continued prayers for you. With love, Ms. Sherri and Wes Mitchell (Wes was a co worker with the city with Brian and my name was always Ms. Sherri). He will be truly missed!
