Biography: Wayne Haydon, a lifelong resident of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on July 21, 1957, to Robert and Carol Ann Haydon, he dedicated his life to his family, his work, and his love of the outdoors.
Wayne built a successful career in home building, leaving a lasting legacy through the craftsmanship and dedication he poured into each project. When he wasn’t working, he found joy in hunting, fishing, and riding ATVs & motorcycles, always making time to enjoy the natural beauty of Arkansas. More than anything, he cherished time spent with his family and friends, creating countless memories that will be treasured forever.
He is survived by his loving mother, Carol A. Haydon; his sister, Jayne H. Smith, and her husband, Scott Smith; his nephew, Haydon S. Smith (wife, Whitney); his niece, Audrey Smith Johnson (husband, Lucas Johnson); many beloved cousins and lifelong neighbors. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Haydon.
Wayne’s kindness, strength, and dedication to those he loved will be deeply missed. His legacy will live on in the homes he built and in the hearts of all who knew him.
A graveside ceremony will be held Friday February 28, 2025, at 12pm, at Roselawn Cemetery, Little Rock Arkansas.
