Adolphine Fletcher Tatum George passed from this life on January 28, 2025.
Adolphine was born May 13, 1926 to Clara and Fletcher Tatum. She was a proud 1945 graduate of Central High School. She married the love of her life, William D. George, Sr. in June, 1946. Together they raised two sons, William D. George, Jr. and David M. George. The first part of their married life, they spent in the Navy in San Francisco and then Washington D.C. finishing Bill's Navy career, at which time they retired back in Little Rock to raise their family, where Bill served as Director of the Little Rock Housing Authority before retiring again in 1986.
She is predeceased by husband, William D. George, Sr., siblings Lucille Tatum Rommel, and Patricia Tatum Frizell, as well as her parents Clara and Fletcher Tatum.

Survivors include children William D. George, Jr. (Sophie) Lawrence, KS, David M. George (Janice) Heber Springs, AR, grandchildren Trey George (Courtney) Berryton, KS, Tatum Bandy (Troy) Lawrence, KS, Tracy Braden (Dixon) Tampa, FL, Andy Sagraves (Nicole) Conway, AR, greatgrandchildren Ainsley Bandy, Ajah Banks, Dixon Braden IV, Julia Braden and Fletcher Braden.
A private service for family only will be at Mount Holly Cemetery on Monday, February 3, 2025.
