I am glad to be one of Brother Johnny's sisters in the Lord. I will always remember him as energetic and full of life. I never saw him depressed or downcast. Brother Johnny was a blessing to our church, leading the song service, worshipping God, singing and playing his guitar. I think he had a bit of charisma going on, everybody loved him. Our life is a vapor, then God takes it. Serving the Lord is a life not waisted. To all his grieving family and friends, only in God can your soul find rest. God is our stronghold. Brother Johnny will be missed.

Tio Johnny,
You will be forever be missed and cherished. You taught us all about Jesus. Your love and faith in Jesus was stronger than all the trials and tribulations you went through. You will be remembered through your music and one song in particular comes to mind for me. Every time you came to Texas you would pull out your guitar and we would gather and ask you to sing certain songs for me I can hear you clear as day singing
THIS WORLD IS NOT MY HOME
1. THIS WORLD IS NOT MY HOME, I'M JUST A PASSING THROUGH MY
TREASURES ARE LAID UP SOMEWHERE BEYOND THE BLUE.
THE ANGELS BECKON ME FROM HEAVEN'S OPEN DOOR AND I CAN'T FEEL AT HOME IN THIS WORLD ANYMORE.
CHORUS
• LORD, YOU KNOW I HAVE NO FRIEND LIKE YOU IF HEAVEN'S NOT MY HOME THEN LORD WHAT WILLI DO?
THE ANGELS BECKON ME FROM HEAVEN'S OPEN DOOR AND I CAN'T FEEL AT HOME IN THIS WORLD ANY-MORE
2.THEY THEY'RE ALL EXPECTING ME, AND THAT'S ONE THING I KNOW
MY SAVIOR PARDONED ME AND NOW I ONWARD GO I KNOW HE'LL TAKE ME THROUGH THOUGH I AM WEAK AND POOR
AND I CAN'T FEEL AT HOME IN THIS WORLD
ANYMORE
3. I HAVE A LOVING SAVIOR UP IN GLORYLAND I DON'T EXPECT TO STOP UNTIL I SHAKE HIS HAND HE'S WAITING NOW FOR ME IN HEAVEN'S OPEN DOOR
AND I CAN'T FEEL AT HOME IN THIS WORLD
ANYMORE
4. JUST UP IN GLORYLAND WE'LL LIVE ETERNALLY THE SAINTS ON EVERY HAND ARE SHOUTING VICTORY
THEIR SONGS OF SWEETEST PRAISE DRIFT BACK FROM HEAVEN'S SHORE
AND I CAN'T FEEL AT HOME IN THIS WORLD
ANYMORE

I love you Tio Johnny.

Brother I can’t express how much I am missing you. My heart is so broken since you left us on your birthday. You left us a good example of God’s plan for salvation for us to live by. But you endured until the end (Matthew 24:13) you fought the good fight, you finished your course, you kept your faith (2 Timothy 4:7) I love you brother I hope to see you in heaven.
