Biography: Sarah Isabel Hagy Davis was born June 26, 1940, in Mayfield, KY to George Aaron Hagy and Rose Ellen Kelly Hagy. She had one sister, Sigma Kelly Hagy Fletcher. She attended Jones Elementary and Hot Springs High School, where she was involved in the performing arts program, with ballet and jazz dance being her passion. She then went to the University of Arkansas, where she majored in English. Poetry was a definite favorite, especially Poe’s “Annabelle Lee”.

She married Samuel Leo Davis, and they remained together until his death in 2002.

She had a resilient, determined personality, and achieved much during her life. Two of her most treasured accomplishments were: winning the title of Miss Hot Springs, and Miss Congeniality in Miss Arkansas Pageant, and even more so being a Multi-year Million Dollar Producer in the Arkansas Realtors Association.

After having her own resale shop and serving as receptionist in the Arkansas Governor’s Office under then Governor Clinton, she earned her teal estate license and was on the sales force at first McKay then RPM. She loved architecture, home design, and decorating, and was especially happy when she could connect a family with the perfect home.

When not working, she enjoyed sewing, bridge, and serving the community. She was a member of Pulaski Heights UMC, Little Rock Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumnae, and 20th Century Club, among others.

She is Survived by a daughter Kelly Vroman Morgan, of Las Vegas, NV, a niece, Ellen Fletcher Bass, of Atlanta, GA, and a nephew, Col. Scott Neale Fletcher (Ret.) of Chantilly, VA. She is Predeceased by Samuel L Davis, her sister -Sigma Kelly Hagy Fletcher, and her brother in law, BG Edward N Fletcher. In addition to extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Pulaski Heights UMC with a brief reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either Pulaski Heights UMC, The University of Arkansas Alumni Association, or any literacy charity you see fit. Sarah was my big sister In Kappa, our Mother’s were best friends and I considered her as one of my best life long friends.She was so loving and caring and fun and so many people will really miss her warm personality and friendship. Our families have so many wonderful memories to cherish .We will all miss her so much. Loving sympathy is sent to all the family. Love, Donna Bartell
