Biography: Edith Camille Sample Robinson, age 79, of Little Rock, died Saturday, December 8, 2007. She was born in Benton Arkansas to the late Charles Galloway and Jesse Byrd Sample. She was a graduate of Benton High School before attending business classes at Little Rock Jr. College. She later was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company where she was an operator, later becoming supervisor of training. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Bethel Sunday School Class. Edith enjoyed playing bridge, gardening, and was an avid golfer, having memberships at Western Hills C. C. and Maumelle C. C. She is survived by a daughter, Roberta Robinson, of Little Rock; one son, Roger Robinson and wife Mary Kay of Abilene Texas, one step-son John Robinson of Lonoke Arkansas, three brothers; Sam Sample and wife Pat of Benton Arkansas, Glen Sample of Lonsdale Arkansas, Harvey Sample and wife Peggy of Pinkney, Michigan, and five grandchildren; Benjamin, Arianna, James, Isaac, Joseph Robinson, Lisa Robinson, John Robinson, Jr. and Sherri DuSang, and a host of other family members and friends. There will be a funeral service Monday at 1:30 pm at the Ruebel Funeral Home Chapel, followed by burial at Pinecrest Cemetery.
