Biography: On June 21, 2024, Sharen Lea Gardner Lamuel died in Jacksonville, AR of natural causes. She was 76 years old.

Sharen is survived by her children Kristen Beach (David) of Jacksonville, AR, Guy R. Howze Jr. (Karin) of Cabot, AR, and Lance Lamuel of Jacksonville, AR, her sister, Fran Dorman (William) of Albuquerque, NM, Aunt, Bea Marie Simmons of Cabot, AR, numerous cousins, (she was especially close to cousin Charlotte Sentell of Cabot, AR) two nieces, five great nieces and nephews, eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren with one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sebastian Lancelot Gardner and Stella Mary Halford Gardner of Sherwood, AR, her oldest sister, Harriett Annette Foster of Albuquerque, NM, brother-in-law, Jerry Walter Foster of La Pine, OR, granddaughter Heather Annette Howze of Jacksonville, AR and granddaughter-in-law Erika Adams of Cabot, AR.

Sharen was born on Christmas Day 1947 in Warren, PA. She enjoyed sharing that she never knew her actual birth month and date until she entered school. She only knew that she was a Christmas gift. She graduated from Sylvan Hills High School in 1966 and went on to attend Texas Christian University.

Sharen was a member of Park Hill Christian Church in North Little Rock, AR. She sold real estate in the Sherwood and North Little Rock areas. She served a term as President of the North Pulaski Board of Realtors. She enjoyed fishing, playing games and sharing a good story.

A memorial service for Sharen is scheduled for close friends and family on Sunday, June 30, 2024 at her home. Her ashes will be interred at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to the Great River Region of the Christian Church, 4724 Hillcrest Ave., Little Rock, AR 72205. Arrangements are under the direction of RuebelFuneralHome.com

Sharen’s family and my family lived next door to each other from grade school until we all graduated from Sylvan Hills High School. Sharen was a special friend. I will cherish our friendship and will miss her.
