Biography: Nancy Jo Magie Daniels, 71, of Little Rock passed away Thursday June 13, 2024, in Little Rock, AR. Nancy was born on February 12th, 1953, in Pensacola FL; to Albert Hugh Magie and Betty Jean Easterly Magie. Growing up, Nancy traveled with her parents and siblings (Richard and Karen Sue) across the United States due to her father's Navy career before residing in Pine Bluff, AR. Nancy graduated from Pine Bluff High School where she met her lifelong friend Lyn Webb. After attending ASU Jonesboro, Nancy met the love of her life, Charles “Chuck” Daniels.
Those that knew Nancy were aware that she grew up in the Episcopal Church and became a founding member of St. Margaret’s. She was a member of The Daughters of the King and took her turn with the weekly altar guild. Nancy was a past member of the Junior League of Little Rock. She donated time and energy to Out of the Woods Animal Resuce of Arkansas, a non-profit organization that matched strays with loving homes. She retired from a successful Real Estate career. In her free time, Nancy loved to travel and see the world with her good friend Sharon Tunstall. She was selfless and always put others before herself. Nancy was one of a kind and will greatly be missed by all.
On May 28, 1977, Nancy and Chuck were married. During their marriage, Nancy and Chuck raised four children. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Betty Jean Magie and husband Chuck Daniels. Nancy is survived by her four children, Charles, Christopher (Chelsey), William, and Sydney (Dalton) Daniels, who provided Nancy with 9 wonderful grandchildren. Kayla, Kayson, Autumn, Hunter, Maddox, Oakleigh, Evelyn, Stella and Olivia. All of whom love to call their grandmother “Mama Bear”. Nancy is also survived by her siblings Richard (Francis) Magie, and Karen Sue Magie Berry (Thomas- deceased), sister-in-law Dana (Walter) Nixon, brother-in-law Coleman (Sandy) Daniels, 2 nephews Brian and Shane Magie; 3 nieces Nicole and Heather Berry and Abigail Nixon; and the best four-legged friend she could ask for, Rigby.
A celebration of Nancy's life will be Wednesday, June 19th, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, 20900 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. 72223; In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Out of the Woods Animal Rescue of Arkansas (P.O.
