Biography: Philip Joseph Roberts, age 77, of Little Rock, AR, passed away on April 6, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on March 14, 1946, in Little Rock, AR.
 
Philip, was known for his outgoing nature. Many would comment on his sweet personality.  He loved to spread happiness and comfort by giving teddy bears to everyone he met.  As a self-taught artist, he loved to draw, and often gifted these drawings to others.  He most loved spending time with his youngest granddaughter, Zoe Roberts. She was the light of his life.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. 
 
He is survived by his two sons, Bertram "Buddy" Roberts (Tammy) of Choctaw, AR, Christopher Roberts (Terri) of Little Rock, AR, as well as stepsons, Daniel "Scottie" Denley of Little Rock, AR and Max Denley (Denise) of West Lafayette, IN. One granddaughter, Zoe Roberts, as well as five step-grandchildren, Kyle Troutman, Ethan Troutman, Abigale (Troutman) Parker, Jacqueline (Denley) Johnson, Zachary Denley and nine great-grandchildren. Philip is preceded in death by his father, Bertram J. Roberts, mother, Elizabeth S. Roberts (Steward), and wife, Patricia A. Roberts.
 
Philip graduated from Little Rock Central High School.  After graduating, he joined the family business as a counter sales-person at Ed's Supply Company for many years, and later worked as a security guard, which he often spoke of.
 
Graveside services will be held on April 10, 2023 @ 11:00 a.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock, AR.  Arrangements are under the direction of RuebelFuneralHome.com
