Biography: Richard Ted Sniegocki II, a devoted husband and loving father and brother, passed away peacefully at his home on October 19th, 2023, with family by his side. He was 76 years old.
 
Ted was born in Knoxville, Tennessee on November 6, 1946, and spent his formative years in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a proud alumnus of Hall High School and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
 
Throughout his life, Ted accomplished much and made an indelible impact on those around him. As a Vietnam veteran, he served in the U.S. Army, rising to the rank of Captain. He showed unwavering dedication to his country and displayed the same commitment to caring for others. Ted’s long and varied career spanned public relations, advertising, local government, finance, and various business pursuits. His generous spirit led him to volunteer with organizations such as Saint Francis House and Habitat for Humanity. Having achieved the rank of Eagle Scout within the Boy Scouts of America, he later served as Scout Leader of Troup 7 in Little Rock. Ted was a dedicated member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, where he held a lifelong membership.
 
Ted was predeceased by his mother, Blossom Irene Sniegocki, and his father, Richard Ted Sniegocki. He is survived by his beloved wife, Virginia Robbins Sniegocki, his son Ryan (Liz) Sniegocki, his daughter Renee Sniegocki (Alex Harps), his brother Alan (Laura) Sniegocki, and his grandson, Avery Turner. Ted's love for his family was immeasurable, and he was a constant source of support and guidance to them.
 
Ted was happiest outdoors with his family and friends. He found joy in activities such as fishing, camping, whitewater paddling, and hunting, taking every opportunity to load up the van and head for the woods with his wife, kids, and dogs. Ted was not just an enthusiast but also a patient and loving teacher who instilled in his family a deep appreciation for nature and lasting memories of happy times on the river. He was a loving husband, father, mentor, and friend.
 
Ted is remembered for his loyalty, selflessness, hard work, and kindness. He always put others first and was willing to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. He had an innate ability to keep in touch with old friends, nurturing these connections over the years.
 
A private family interment will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and a farewell celebration will be held a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be made to either St. Mark’s Episcopal Church or St. Francis House, two organizations close to Ted's heart.
 
Ted Sniegocki will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, kindness, and service to others will live on in the hearts of those he touched throughout his remarkable life. Arrangement are under the direction of RuebelFuneralHome.com
