Biography: Dr. Thomas Robert (Bob) Johnson, 94, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023.  Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Ruth B. Johnson, and his daughter, Sherry Louise Johnson.  He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Brooks Johnson, and his grandson, Robert Brooks Aitchison and wife Maddie.

Bob was born on September 5, 1928 in Arkadelphia, AR and later moved to Little Rock where he graduated from Little Rock High School. He studied at Henderson State University before attending Loyola School Of Dentistry in New Orleans, LA and later St. Louis University for graduate studies in orthodontics.
 
Bob practiced orthodontics in the Little Rock area for over 40 years. He was active in his community, including the Little Rock Executives Association, the Orthodontic Education and Research Foundation, and Rotary Club 99, where he served as president from 1974-75.
 
Known as Dr. Energy, Bob was happiest when he was busy.  If he wasn’t at his office or his rental properties, you could probably find him riding the Exercycle at the Country Club of Little Rock. He was also an avid hunter of big game, deer, and ducks. 
 
More than anything, Bob was a devoted husband, loving father, and dedicated grandfather. Loved by all who knew him, when he walked into a room and said his favorite line, “Hey gang!”, everyone knew who it was.
