Biography: Michael G. Mallory, 73 of Little Rock, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2023. He was born December 14, 1949 in Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat and Betty Mallory.
Mike grew up in Hot Springs and graduated from Arkansas State University, where he was an active alum in the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. He served briefly as an officer in the U.S. Army. Most of his career was spent as a surety bond specialist in the insurance business. His interests included horse racing, history, and sports, especially Razorback football. He was an active member of Second Presbyterian Church where he served as a deacon and worked with the youth ministry.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Suzanne (Galvin) of 25 years; children: Erin Cristler (PJ) and George Mallory IV (Ashley); grandchildren: Evan Cristler and Rosemary, Eva, and Leo Mallory; and sisters: Renie Stricklen and Edwina Fink.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 25th, 2023 at the Forest Hills Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lambda Chi House Corporation, 3617 Alabama Road, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72405.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Second Presbyterian Church, Little Rock, AR followed by a reception.
