Biography:
It is with great sadness that the family of Michael Sean Griffin, of Conway, announces his passing at the age of 54, on April 18, 2023, following a brave battle with cancer. Michael was born June 11th 1968 in Memphis Tennessee to Bevely Eugene and JoAnn (Warlick) Griffin. He passed on April 18th surrounded by his family. He was predeceased by his father.
His family moved to Little Rock when he was 5. As a young boy Michael enjoyed spending time on Lake Hamilton with his family and fishing with his dad. He graduated from McClellan High School. Michael was an entrepreneur at heart. He learned what hard work entailed from working with his dad selling newspapers at a young age. After finding his passion through working for others, he created Arkansas Line Marking, a business he was proud of in 1999, and ran that business successfully until his diagnosis in June 2022, and it continues to run under his wife who worked alongside him.
He was extremely hardworking, devoted, and had a unique sense of humor that made everyone smile. Michael’s greatest treasure in life was his love for his children. He was an avid Razorback and SEC sports fan and loved to watch the games with his family every week. His dream was to retire, buy an RV, and travel, following the Razorbacks wherever they were playing. He loved fishing with his family, playing golf with his son, and watching his children excel. Michael was a devoted Christian and a member of Life Line Baptist Church, and most recently attending Bible Baptist Church in Conway with his family. He never met a stranger, he loved hard, and he lived life to the fullest each day.
He is survived by his loving wife Cindy Griffin (Conway), daughters Emily Griffin (Conway) and Caroline Griffin (Conway), son Michael Joseph Griffin(Conway), siblings Beverly Schnebelen (Vilonia) and Jimmy Griffin (Little Rock), mother JoAnn Griffin Bell (Conway), one grandson Brayden Pulliam (Conway), and his chosen brother Gary (Christi) Pilkington (Little Rock).
