Biography: J. D. Williams (James D. Williams) ,79, of Ward passed away March 26th,2023. J.D. was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Bonnie Kate Williams, brother Billy Williams and sister-in-law Charlene Williams.
J.D. is survived by his wife Kay Williams of Ward; brother, Bobby Williams (Brenda) of Vilonia; son, Mark Williams (Dorothy) of Vilonia; daughter, Karin Howze (Guy) of Cabot; stepson, Grady Carnahan of Ward; stepson, Tim Paul of Ward; stepdaughter, Mindy Paul of Ward. Fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.
After graduating from Fuller High School, J.D. worked for the Missouri Pacific/Union Pacific Railroad for 43 years. He also served in the Army National Guard from 1963 to 1969. J.D. was a Christian, proud member of the Masonic Lodge, loved gardening and spending time with his family.
Visitation will be Saturday the 29th of April from 10:00-11:00am with a service following at 11:00am at Second Presbyterian Church, 600 Pleasant Valley Dr., Little Rock, Arkansas.
