She is survived by her children Kim Armstrong, Karen Baker, Kathy Hall, and Kirk Armstrong, and her grandsons Josh Baker and Alex Hall. She was retired from Southwestern Bell Company and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Marletta was also a member of the Children of the Confederacy. Her pleasures in life were her home, her gardening, and her family. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She will be laid to rest at Forest Hills Cemetery following a family graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lions World Services for the Blind, 2811 Fair Park Blvd. Little Rock, AR 72204. "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Mathew 11 v 28-30 We ask that you take a friend to lunch or dinner and tell him or her the things we often think of only after someone is gone.
