John was an alumnus of the Virginia Military Institute like his father before him. Although a West Point graduate, he was a member of our VMI Arkansas chapter for many years. I’ll miss his great sense of humor and his stories. Many will remember his skill as a cartoonist. Whenever we got together he always brought me a cartoon about his VMI days. God bless you John. I will miss you. Yours was a life well lived.

John,
Our sweet friend from The Little Rock Ski Club years ago. What wonderful memories I hold in my heart of Wayne and I stopping by your place in Biscoe on our way either to or from my hometown in Phillips County!
Reading your Dad’s Obituary, he and Wayne were from the same generation and cut from the same cloth weren’t they? Maybe now, they can also meet and share Heaven together !
