Biography: Nancy Stiles, 77, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 24, 2022. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Nancy was born January 13, 1945, in Dallas, TX. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School as well as the University of Texas.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Evelyn Black, and her husband Dail Stiles. She is survived by her brother Bill Black (Fred), sister Anna Knoedl (Barry), her daughter Erin Nichols (Sean), grandsons Riley and Connor Hunter, nieces Krista, Jennifer and Lindsay Williamson, nephew Gregory Williamson, her beloved dog Xena and cat Conley as well as a host of loving relatives and friends.
She enjoyed traveling with a close group of friends after her retirement from Arkansas State Government.
A memorial service will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home, 6313 W. Markham St., Little Rock, AR 72205 at 2:00 pm Friday, December 2, 2022. This will be a non-traditional service. All are welcome and encouraged to come and share memories and fun stories of Nancy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to the Humane Society of Pulaski County, Arkansas Food Bank, or the charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the direction of RuebelFuneralHome.com
She was my supervisor and we always had a fun time at lunch playing spades. She was a very special lady. I’m sorry we didn’t stay closer during retire. I enjoyed seeing her grandsons on Facebook.
