Douglas started his construction career very young as he and my daughter Maria built many large cardboard creations when in grade school. Saturdays were happily spent planning and building cardboard tunnels and houses in the garage. I'm so saddened by the loss of Douglas and his creative spirit. My prayers are with his children, family, and all who loved him. Rest in peace, Douglas.

I was so saddened to hear of Douglas’s passing away. I knew him well as he was a classmate of my daughter Amanda and a dear friend of hers. I was his school nurse at Pulaski Heights and loved him as one of my favorites. May God be with his children and family.
