Biography: David Deloss Teed, 86, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2022. Born in Hot Springs on June 8, 1936, to the late Ralph H. and Ferol Teed. After graduating from Little Rock Central High School in 1954, he received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech University in Atlanta, GA, and a master’s degree in business from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. He retired from IBM after 30+ years as a Marketing Representative selling innovative automation and computer systems to banks and financial institutions. A lifelong Presbyterian, he was a longstanding member of Christ the King Catholic Church where he attended regularly with his family. An avid sports fan, he was especially passionate about golf.
David is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jane; daughters Julia Brearley and Laura Marble (Todd); grandchildren Robert Brearley, Luke and Lila Marble; and great grandson Colin James Brearley. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ralph Jr. and Richard.
A visitation will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church on Monday, August 8th, at 9:30 a.m. followed by a mass at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Home for Healing, 4300 W. I was so sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I will always remember our fun family times together way back when.
