Sharing the sadness surrounding Jon's going on to life eternal. If Coach Timmerman and my husband Carl were together they'd share stories of the joys and sorrows of Jon's excellent high school wrestling career. And we knew his Schwab (maternal grandparents) so well along with his parents and sister. Rest in peace! Thank you Jon for each worthy accomplishment!!

I went to Junior High and High School with Jon and then always enjoyed seeing him at our class reunions. He was such a good person and it was always a delight to see him at the reunions and catch up.
My sincere condolences to his family.

Jon and I started kindergarten together. He was a cherished soul and a gentle giant but most of all he was a good friend. Just knowing he is no longer alive breathing the same air makes my heart very sad. Sympathy to his family.

Rest in peace John. Our chats at Picken's office and later around Little Rock were always a treat. As a fellow ISU alum we shared memories of those days in Ames. My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. May the good memories sustain you until you are reunited again in the future.
