Biography: Patricia “Patti Jean” Lemon, 81, of Little Rock, went to be in the arms of the Lord early in the morning of June 24, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 49 years, Frank Lemon. She is survived by her brother, Bob Ray, a daughter, Mallory (Lex) Martinez, and four grandchildren, Olivia, Alex, Molly, and Elle.

Patti was a retired teacher of 39 years with Little Rock School District. She fondly remembered her years as a first-grade teacher and often ran into former students, whose names she always remembered. Her greatest joy in life was her four grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the staff at Hospice Home Care for caring for her when we no longer could. A private burial service will be held on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Arkansas Food Bank, her favorite charity.  Arrangements are under the direction of RuebelFuneralHome.com

I am saddened by the loss of Patti as I know how hard it is to say goodbye to a mom and best friend. I have many sweet memories of Patti, including when she was my teacher at Brady Elementary School. And, I’ll always smile when I think of her kind heart and sweet smile. I imagine right now many of our mutual friends, my mom and dad and Frank are sharing a big hug with her and welcoming her home!

Frank and Patti were dear friends of my grandparents, Guy and Jean. Mrs Patti was so happy when we had our son and spoke to him each Sunday. She was always kind and so friendly with a great sense of humor.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Mrs. Patti, she was one of the sweetest people ever. She and Mr Frank treated the boys and I like family and we will never forget either of them.

Patti and Frank shared our grandchildren. Letters crossed the miles connecting us. We grew to love them both treasuring
not only our relationship,
but that our four Grands had the best Papa and Mema close to love, hug
and influence.
Patti will be missed by many. May the Lord be with the her family and friends.

Thinking of you and praying for your family in the loss of your sweet mother. Mother’s are so special and I miss my mother every day. Your mother was always kind to ask about the kids. I saw her at Kroger several months ago. She always lit up with a big grin when I asked about the grands. As a former teacher, I know she loved her students and liked to see them excel. May God give you peace and understanding that Patti was greeted by the love of her life when she when to her eternal home.
