I met Charlie our second day of freshman year at Vanderbilt.Although we lost touch after graduation,I always knew he would do great things with his intelligence as well as his creativity. May his memory always be a blessing for his brother and all his loving friends and family.

Charlie was a great guy! I remember him as very hard-working and extremely bright. As I recall, he was the salutatorian of our class. I am so saddened by his passing.

It’s a sad day. My colleague, my friend has passed and the world has lost one of the kindest men I have ever met. He was smart, funny, extremely talented and always a pleasure to be around. He will be missed and remembered by those who knew him and whose life he touched.

It's so hard to believe that Charlie has gone from us...he was a very loving, sweet, sensitive, funny, intelligent, and creative guy and an enormously talented musician. I always loved making music with him for various musical and religious organizations here in Little Rock. My life has been lessened with your passing, dear friend. Fly high and rest sweetly...I know you are already making beautiful music in the heavens!

I was in concert band with Charles. He was a great friend. He had a great sense of humor. I have been looking for him for a long time, having lost contact with him after high school. Rest in Peace dear Charles.
