I was so sad to hear of Teresa's passing. She was my Zeta Tau Alpha big sister and she was the BEST! She will forever hold a special place in my heart. Please know you all will be in my thoughts and prayers in the difficult days ahead. May all your precious memories bring you peace and comfort.

Teresa and I met as sophomores at the University of Arkansas when she asked for and immediately got a job on my yearbook staff (Greek editor). We became fast friends, bonding over similar senses of humor and a love of loud, late night singing in the yearbook office. We also collaborated on Zeta/Sigma Nu Relays comedy sketches, and she even let me host a pep rally with her (she and Rich Hedgecock were the permanent co-hosts, so he must have had a conflict). I even changed my major to Communication because she loved it so (and said it was easy).

After returning to Little Rock upon graduation, she was a regular in the journalists’ every-other-year production of the FARKLEBERRY FOLLIES, Arkansas’s political satire show. When Director Bob Ginnaven decided he no longer wanted to play then-Governor Clinton, Teresa convinced him to take a chance on me, and that experience became the catalyst that led to my change of careers.

I had relocated to New York when she moved to Atlanta, but I volunteered the home of my aunt and uncle, Diane and Randy Zook, as a place to stay. And stay she did. For several months.

The documentary of my high school's twenty-year reunion production of OUR TOWN exists and was honored because of Teresa and the team of Atlanta filmmakers she assembled and brought to Lebanon, Missouri in 1998. I was blessed to know and collaborate with her during three major periods of my life and greatly regret not spending more time with her over the past few months.

May God’s promise comfort all who loved and were loved by this exceptionally talented, funny and caring woman.

Here’s the teaser she directed and cut for JO'S TOWN, the award-winning feature documentary she directed. https://vimeo.com/413687691

I am heartbroken to learn of Teresa’s passing. We were pledge sisters at U of A, and all my best memories of that time include Teresa. Her energy and sense of humor, her talent, her laugh……. She produced the best sorority skits. (She did a spot on impression of John Belushi from the Blues Brothers.). She was a friend to all of us, and brought nothing but happiness and laughter to our sorority. I particularly remember standing in line with her to see The Empire Strikes Back, and she entertained us all by making up words to go with tv and movie theme songs; I can’t hear those without singing Teresa’s words. I send Love and prayers to her family and friends. She was special. Till we see her again.

Teresa was one of the most vivacious, fun-loving, genuine, and kind humans we ever knew. Her love for her friends was enabling and sustaining. Her creativity was known early and evidenced by her award winning directing of Jo's Town under collaboration with our dear friend Gary Newton. The documentary recasts a 1978 high school play 20 years later; a similar premise to the current Encore streaming show. Winner of the New York and Kansas film festivals, she shot Jo's Town in an intermittent interview style that would later be reflected in such shows as The Office. It is brilliant and heartfelt. We will miss this lovely friendship. Brian and Susie Rosenthal

Theresa was one of the first friends I made at Channel 2 in May of 1990.

I had moved south from NYC and knew nobody.

Theresa will her warmth, contagious smile and sense of humor won me over immediately.
She was a kind and generous colleague and friend.

In fact she was my first dinner date in Atlanta!

May her beautiful memory always be a blessing in your lives…
