Biography:
Jimmy Royce McFadden, 86, formerly of North Little Rock, passed away April 15, 2022, after several years of declining health. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Oneda McFadden; loving wife, Rochelle McFadden; brother, Bill McFadden and his beloved dogs, Sasha and Ariel.
He graduated from Lonoke High School in 1954 and graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1959 with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. He first worked for the Corp of Engineers and then started working at the LIttle Rock Air Force Base as a Missile Engineer. He retired from the Air Force Base after a 34 year career.
He and his wife Rochelle were members of Lakewood United Methodist Church in North Little Rock and were involved in the Bob Millet Bible Class.
Survivors include his daughter, Michelle Hudson (Ritchie) and grandson, Mason Gentry; and numerous other close friends.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00pm on Wednesday at Ruebel Funeral Home with funeral service at 1:30pm on Thursdayin the chapel of Ruebel Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Memory Care of Little Rock and Kindred Hospice. Memorials may be made to Pulaski County Humane Society of Pulaski County, Alzheimer’s Association or Kindred Hospice.
My granddaughter attends Lonoke schools, he seemed very pleased to tell me that was his high school! I took a picture of his brick at Lonoke schools.
