Biography: Marcia Goodwin Zeno, affectionately known as Mimi, age 79, peacefully passed away on February 22, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.

Marcia was born on August 20,1942 in Crossett, AR to the parents of Lila Mae and Vasco Goodwin. After graduating from Monticello High School. She attended Southern Arkansas University. On July 23, 1942 she married her husband Lary K. Zeno (Big L). Marcia and Lary moved to Winchester, AR where they raised their 3 children. She and Lary owned Zeno Buick/GMC in Dermott for 16 years before moving to Little Rock in 1991, then later to Bryant, AR in 2001.

Marcia was brilliant, beautiful, vivacious, stylish and talented. Marcia’s family was her world. She spent most of her past time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed the many weekends with her grandchildren at the Zeno family deer camp in Drew County and lake home in Hot Springs. Mimi loved fun outings with her girls shopping, while Big L spoiled the boys in the woods. She enjoyed family gatherings at her home eating home-cooked meals.  Her favorite pastime was going to the casino and playing the slots. She taught us all what putting others first meant. She always put those she loved first and would have it no other way. Mimi was the best friend a daughter, daughter in law, and grandchild could ever dream of having. When there was a question of what to do or if we just needed direction, we called Mimi. There are no words the impact her passing has brought to our family. However, we are so thankful to have the promise of God’s word that we will see our loved ones again if we only believe in him. God truly blessed us with mother/Mimi, the greatest gift on earth. She was our life.

Marcia was preceded by her parents; brother, Van Goodwin (Russellville); sister, Bonnell Rice (Little Rock); Joann Gibbs (Warren); Myrna Daniel (Monticello); Linda K. Pinkus (Dermott); Sheila Young (Monticello).

Marcia leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband of 61 years, Lary K. Zeno ; son, Lary Kent  Zeno lI, Little Rock, AR;  son, Lance Kane Zeno, Mabelvale, AR; daughter, Amanda Gates (Gene), Fayetteville, AR; 8 grandchildren, Lary Kent Zeno III (Shelby); Kate Baker (Dustin); Harper Lee (Austin); Lila Zeno (Leslea); Kane Zeno; Gracie Staggs (Sebastian);Madelynn Collins (Elliott); Jay Kent Gates, and 7 great-grandchildren.

A private family memorial services will be held at First Baptist Church, Tillar, AR on Saturday, February 26,2022 at 2:00pm. A celebration of life to follow at a later date. Memorials may be made St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital www.stjudes.org/donate or Shriners Children’s Hospital www.shrinerschildrens.org. Arrangements are under the direction of RuebelFuneralHome.com

Where to start...Your family has been a part of ours for at least 40years. Lary married us and Ms Marcia was my made of honor 40 years ago. Marcia has always the Beam of Light for us and the Lord used her many times to help many people in their time of need - without asking - she just knew. There is no doubt where this sweet Lady is right now. Jesus had her bed ready and called her Home. May God hold all of you in His Comforting Hands and be a Light of comfort for the Family and Close Friends in the days & years to come. We are so very Blessed to have called her "Friend" and a "Family". Our love to all of you. James & Dollie
