Biography: Mason Harold Langley, 26, of Benton, Arkansas passed away Monday, February 21st 2022.

Mason was born in Benton, Arkansas, and graduated from Benton High School in 2015.  Loving son and dear friend to so many, Mason was preceded in death by his grandmother, Joanne Langley, grandmother Dorothy Oswalt, and his grandfather Hugh Hackler.  Mason is survived by his parents Larry Langley, Anne Cook, and Jason Cook, one brother Jaxson Langley, his uncle Dr. Joe Horton, aunt Kathy Horton, and grandparents Bobby Langley, Jim and Shannon Cook, and Jan Bradburn as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A true man’s man, Mason loved working with his hands.  No job was ever too big or too dirty for Mason to be eager to assist.  He volunteered at the Turtle Creek Fire Department, Habitat for Humanity, and the VFW in Benton.  Playing pool, joyriding with friends, and dancing were some of Mason’s favorite pastimes.  As many of us know, Mason never met a stranger.  He was a very sociable young man who enjoyed meeting new people and helping with tasks at a moment’s notice.

The visitation will be Friday, February 25, 2022, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Ruebel Funeral Home. A memorial service is scheduled on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 10 a.m. at Ruebel Funeral Home in Little Rock.  Reverend Holly Patton will officiate.  Mason’s burial will take place Monday, February 28, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Bryant, Arkansas.  The family wishes to thank Baptist Hospital for the wonderful care offered to Mason during his time there, as well as the compassion offered to his family and friends during this difficult time.

Those who wish to participate are encouraged to offer memorials to the Arkansas Children's Hospital Heart Center.  Arrangements are under the direction of RuebelFuneralHome.com

I’m so very sorry for the loss of Mason. I remember him following me around the house as I was cleaning for you always telling me stories about him and his pawpaw working on mowers, tractors, trucks, it was always some thing! He had the best imagination and I enjoyed listening to his stories!

We are so blessed that you, Mason, have been a valuable part of Apostolic Tabernacle! We are thankful for your help in so much that has been accomplished even during COVID. I appreciate your willingness to help with the A/V and sound, also.
We will definitely miss you, but know that you have attained that which we are still pressing toward. I count it a great honor to have baptized you in the name of Jesus, the only saving name! I was also blessed to hear you praying, even in CCU, as the Spirit gave the utterance!
Our condolences to Mason's family and friends. Our prayers are for each of you to feel the comfort and peace that only Jesus can give. ❤️ &
