Biography: Madeline Godsey Sangston 99, of Crossett, Arkansas passed away Friday, February 4, 2022. She was born June 20, 1922 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late William Henry and Mattie Burns Godsey.
She is preceded in death by her brothers Paul Wilson Godsey, and Pete Godsey, sister Annie Jessie Godsey Hays, son James Allen Heath Jr. son in law Thurman L. Purifoy, grandson Mason Newlin, granddaughter Shannon Clower, and niece Jackie Hays.
She is survived by her children; L.A. Clower of Illinois, Madeline Purifoy of Arkansas, Pauline Purifoy of Arkansas, and Mary Brown (Steve) of Texas. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Geneva Martin Godsey wife of Pete Godsey. Her grandchildren; Mike Clower, Justin Clower, Raymond Dobbels, Chris Spilin, Dixon Dobbels all of Illinois, Ray Purifoy (Jamie), Beverly Purifoy, Paul Purifoy all of Arkansas, Angie Pack, April Bennett all of Texas, Rebecca Bennett all of Arkansas, Anna Yirsa of Arizona, Jason Brown, Josh Brown, Jacob Brown all of Texas, 48 great grandchildren and a lot of nieces, nephews, cousins and her family on Ancestry.com and Facebook.
