Lew and Babs, What does someone say at a time like this? Carrie was such a wonderful, beautiful and vibrant woman. She was always so special to me. I have so many wonderful childhood memories of being with ya'll in your home, when we went to the lake together, birthday parties and so many others... She was very much loved by so many, especially me and she will be very sorely missed. I'll miss exchanging Christmas cards with her every year but, even more so, I'll miss knowing Carrie is sitting at her kitchen table watching the circle through her "window to the world". Then again, maybe she will be... I love you all. May God bless and keep you all in this time of sorrow.
Love always,
Scott Brown

In losing dear Carrie, all of the Riviera Circle residents have lost a kind, thoughtful neighbor. We never heard her say a harsh word about anyone, and she was generous to all. Even in the snow, she made sure her Christmas gifts to the neighbors were delivered, whether a yummy cake, a handknit dishcloth, or other useful remembrance. We could regularly expect her to spearhead the annual donations drive for the March of Dimes and other charities that benefited people near and far. She was a gracious Southern lady with a magnanimous spirit and a warm, loving heart. We loved her in return and will miss her very so much. Our sincere condolences to all of Carrie's family,
Darrell And Peggy Thomas and family
