We are so sorry to hear of Flo's death.
I am Charles Mattmiller's second daughter, if you recall, and of course Louise is my mother.
Mother is not making any trips except to see about her sister in Baton Rouge when I go to see my grandchildren. She is not even going to church any more. She just can't make herself do so. Going to the doctor is about all I can get her to do around here. So, I don't expect her to make the trip to Flo's service. I hope your own health is as good as it was when we were in NLR in 2004, but I realize things have a way of going downhill instead of being better health wise.
I came back home two years ago last May to be with her because she simply was becoming a hermit...not even going to DeWitt for groceries. She is ok, just homebound more by her own doing than by her physical limits. Still surprised she is still alive. Lets anyone know she is 85 years old and no one in her family has lived so long. She recognized Flo's picture as someone she knew, though. We will be praying for you at this time of loss and hope things will work out so that you can do whatever you want to do as far as living out the rest of your life goes. Have sent word to the other siblings. Marvella called and said she hopes to make it to the service, but has an appointment she cannot miss so may not be there in time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of grief. Love, Margaret and Louise
