Biography: Gayle Wise Slager, 84, of Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at Hospice Homecare. She was born in Columbus, Georgia on October 11, 1937, to Albert Wise and Marjorie Cerf Wise.
 
She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Patricia Wise Tanenbaum. She was also predeceased by the father of her children, Julian H. “Pete” Slager, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Pat Hamilton (Ken), Kathy Grundfest (Jack), and Julie Genn (Steve), as well as grandchildren, Chet Paulk, Blair Grundfest Orlansky (Adam), Lauren Grundfest, Zach Genn and Sarah Genn, and her great grand-daughter, Harper Manasco.  
 
She had a tremendous empathy for those less fortunate. She was a kind person who loved children and animals. She was especially wonderful with her grandchildren when they were young. Gayle was dedicated to the memories of her beloved father and her sister.
 
A private graveside service will be held at Walnut Lake Cemetery in Pickens, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to Congregation B’nai Israel Camp Scholarship Fund.  Arrangements are under the direction of RuebelFuneralHome.com
